What needs to be done to oval. Marking the lines, mowing the lawns, fertilising etc. There is a science to groundskeeping but it aint worth $487 K. The development is long overdue and in the past 30 years the ground has gone from the best to one of the worst in terms of amenities etc.

Most of the $487k goes on repairing things like toilets, plumbing etc which are absolutely rat**** because of the age of the ground.

I have heard that the toilets are busted after nearly every game because they are so old. I am surprised that council doesn't come out and ask everyone to refrain from going to the toilet until they get home.

I can confirm that the toilets at the back of the hill haven't changed in 30 years. 487k is about what I spend on damn plumbers a year!

It is actually more to do with tree roots getting into the line. And Warringah Council loves trees so much I am forced to just keep shelling out, usually 4 times a year. Well, that's my story....
