No he wasn't due back last week.

He was due back Monday and didn't show but that's not an indication he is gone, it's an indication that there is a stalemate.

Is he being paid by us or not?

I still think that if we can't get a replacement such as Pearce, then really we should cut our losses and just let Green go simply because its obvious that he wants to play elsewhere.

Promote from within. Hastings, or Cullen at a stretch. And then use the money saved on someone like Pearce to go for another decent forward.
