Only saw the first 15 minutes or so of that half, but we looked completely uninterested. Could be tiredness, or a hangover from last week, but this was always going to be a danger game so I assumed Des had some sort of a plan to counter that. No intent, nobody looks like they want to be out there. Donkeys obviously have a plan to kick to their wingers and it seems like that's enough. Feel for Funa, who hasn't been given any help out there. No pressure on the kickers, no one else even anywhere near the ball.
Shows how important getting dudded last week was. Two from five won't look pretty.

I expect there are 16 players who are going to emerge from half time about 5 kg lighter (not Marty since he went off injured early). Des is going to tear strips off them.

No 2/5 on a shortened season is going to make it very hard to get anywhere near the top 4.

I think that hope might be gone after this.

I believe the Doggie's game flattered and deceived where we are really at. Along with the memory of knocking off a Roosters outfit that was way off the boil in the beginning of the year and I think we have deluded ourselves as to where we really are. Capable, but still way off the pace. That said, we could still come back and turn this game around in the second half. We just lack consistency and a poorly performing captain not controlling games is a big part of that
