Barrett may be a nice guy but has no clue.
DCE may be a nice guy but offers nothing.

I've grown used to the poor discipline and sheer stupidity, but in a season that's already been piss poor, that was probably our most piss-poor effort so far. Our entire pack was dominated by one player, and Thurston showed what a good half is supposed to do on the back of Taumololo's unopposed performance. Thurston's best days may indeed be well behind him, but he's still more than capable of doing his job on a footy field.
Take Jake out of our team and we are shot.

I'm starting to think that Qld leaving DCE out all these years is not some conspiracy thing, but they actually have a clear understanding of his flaws and vulnerabilities. Perhaps we have been kidding ourselves as one-eyed biased supporters, wanting to believe DCE is better than what he actually is? I dunno... but, just so disillusioned with him and the performance this year from our team, coaching staff and club.

The team all year hasn't earned the right to play footy early on in games, running it on the 5th so early on, spreading it early or low percentage offloads are just not on. I understand all teams have to do more than hitups otherwise you risk gang tackling and lacking penetration but this team needs to earn the right first throughout the year.

Then Manly get a little forward momentum and field position in the red zone and a poor dummy half pass low leads to an eventual rushed pass and drop ball----it is amateurish lacking any composure.

There is so much penetration in the forwards Manly should easily be ahead even with the wind against us.
