Dragons are playing good attacking footy. They throw it around. We can't defend against adlib even when we are tackling ok. At the moment we couldn't defend against Narraweena A grade...

I know where my multi bet is going.

Assuming the cut off for the 8 will probably be 32 points again, it’s pretty much crucial to beat the goons, we probably need to win 9 from 11 to guarantee a spot, given the draw, maybe 8 gets us there pending other results, seasons in the balance, it’s basically a must win, a Migoty.

I didn't see it (did anyone?!) but I saw that Josh A went on report for a trip? But I assume that would only be a fine?!

I won’t be confident in any game until we learn how to tackle and defend effectively. Saints are a big team if we let them roll they will destroy us. Flanagan is going to know our weak spots and there is plenty of choice which ones to target and when

Our captain is in origin mode and we won’t have his focus for a fee weeks yet, the apathy will filter down from there

Extra bye this year so 34 points should be cut-off but the competition is more even and if Souffs and Parra get their act together then maybe 32.

Yer, pretty tough assignment either way you look at it. With 2 byes, if we win 7 of the 11 remaining games we’d finish on 33 points, that could be enough or if your right it would leave us a point short or needing to win 8 out of 11 to finish on 35 to guarantee we play semifinals. Sadly I think it’s another September without us, but while there’s mathematically a chance, I’m all in until the fat lady signs, problem is I can hear her, she’s out the back warming up.

Here’s our remaining draw, all we have to do is find 7 or 8 W’s there, keeping in mind our track record of putting back to back wins together, sorry to spoil the start to the week.

Goons H
Vermin
2 points
Cows
Knights H
Tits H
Chooks A
2 points
Raiders A
Wahs H
Tig’s A
Dogs A
Sharks H

We have two more games to add in,

Dogs away and Sharks at home, I think they make the 8, I didn’t think at the start of the season they would.

Get a couple of edge forwards to round out the 30 man squad and they are a shot.

Cheers, fell for the old 25 rounds trick, I’ve amended the post, still don’t think it’s made the task much better.

We did play the Premiership favourites yesterday, and csme close to a win. It was always going to be that, i hope we win kinda game. Our run in to Sep starts next Sunday at Brookie against the goons. Everythings on the line now and with a packed out Brookie behind us we'll bring this one home.
Premiership favs missing some big guns. Also were there fir the taking. We were pathetic. Lazy. 32m gains every set. Zero effort. Nobody wants to tackle. How can you not see this?
