Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Anthony Seibold has named his team to play the Newcastle Knights on Sunday, July 14, in round 19 of the Telstra Premiership.

Seibold's obviously seen the writing on the wall and realised if he wants that extension he needs to play the best people in their position, regardless if they've signed elsewhere, to win those winnable games. The bunnies experiment was a massive failure.
I think not running a rookie halfback in a spine that already was Hopoate, Brooks, and Simpkin was probably a good idea. That game would've been the worst possible time to make a debut. Home, Brookie, next to a bodyguard second-rower, fired up by being dropped from Origin, with Turbo captaining the team, can't get much better than that.
EDIT: Is Humphreys leaving to the Rabbits even confirmed by either club?

I don't get it?! Only assuming it may be strategic to get knights to focus their game plan on turbo at fb all week and then a late reshuffle of the backline on game day?!
I guess I am scarred by the Souffs game. We were very patched up.

Only a guess, but maybe Tom T said to the coach he'd had enough of this playing at centre bs.
He can create more at fullback than sitting in the centre's, which is what we lacked against Souths

True. It's odd. But I think let's give Seibold some credit. If Des was in charge Tommy 2 would be playing in the halves again. There's more experience in the team this week which might be a factor.
But just may be, just may be this is Seibold's way of acknowledging, that against Souths he might have stuffed up.

Did Seilbold make a error by not naming him against south’s , or does Seibold still think there is no one there but has to name someone there cause the ones that played there against south’s weren’t 1/2’s so it’s just another player playing in that position cause Manly don’t have another 1/2 in the squad 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤪
