Manly v Penrith Round 20, 2018 - Pre Game

Play with heart passion and desir for the jersey , club and supporters
Sadly been at the last 5 home defeats and nothing really installs me with confidence about tomorrow.
We will try hard but panthers have way more on the line 12-12 half time
Full time 28-16 panthers
Were you among the faithful supporters to voice their displeasure last weekend?

I was at the game I did voice my displeasure but only at half time it was one of the worse halves of footy in a decade I saw.
I never don't boo but it was just so poor from us in that half.

Mate, I don’t blame you... showing up and forking out your cash for that rubbish. Most points conceded in our history. I hope they heard you.

“SHATTERED” Sea Eagles players will be seeking redemption for the debacle against the Sydney Roosters when they play Penrith at Lottoland this afternoon.

Manly coach Trent Barrett said yesterday he was still not over last Sunday’s 56-24 drubbing by a red hot Roosters outfit.

“All the boys, including myself, were very embarrassed last week that that happened, particularly on our own turf,” he said. “The good thing about it is we can come out here tomorrow and redeem ourselves in front of our fans.”

Barrett wants the players to use to pain from last week as a motivation against the Panthers.

“We have to — we’re at a stage of the season where we just need to win some games for the club and ourselves and finish the year on a good note,” he said.

“Last week wasn’t acceptable. All the boys were shattered and still are — and want to turn it around tomorrow.”

He said the return of Dylan Walker was a big boost. “He gives us a lot of confidence. He makes the players around him better and he’s a really good talker and he’s a big personality in the team,” Barrett said.

“The last three games that he has played at five-eighth we have won against pretty handy opposition.”

Powerful winger Jorge Taufua is also back.

“He has a strong carry. He’s really good at the back of the field and we rely on him a lot,” Barrett said.

Yada yada yada

All words, only actions speak louder!!

Certainly agree with the Walker factor adding plenty more to the side, but there is an equally big inclusion imo.
Taufua back is massive, provided he is not having a dropsy day, eats up tough yards and gets Manly momentum off his charges- really hope he plays.

Their inclusion takes us from absolutely no chance to some chance.

FMD if they need any sort of motivation to put in last nights results should also add to that.

We “ could” get surprised , butvtgsts a Big COULD!!
