Game Day: Manly v Rabbids [Round 4, 2019]

Happily Manly :inlove:

That quite literally was a game of inches. Taupau holding up a Souths player who just had to fall over the line to score, Elliott making a sensational collar grab to slow down a runaway forward who should have gone in to score and the field goal attempt that hit the upright. There were also so many tackles where our players could have easily fallen off but they just didn’t. An unbelievable victory

Manly back rower Joel Thompson has been charged for tripping for a second time in four weeks, in the aftermath of the Sea Eagles heart-stopping 13-12 win over the Rabbitohs.

Thompson will be fined $1,900 is he enteres an early plea for tripping Souths winger Corey Allan in the 71st minute at Lottoland on Saturday.

It was Thompson's second tripping offence. In round one he was fined $1,350 for tripping Tigers winger Corey Thompson during the 20-6 loss at Leichhardt Oval.

Kidding me, Burgess gets away with the cheap and deliberate shot on Parker. :banghead:

You would have to think that the burgi family have some serious dirt on someone at the nrl and have been given the green light and become completely untouchable, it is so blatant, just can’t understand why no one in the media or commentary highlights it

Just watching the replay of the field goal from DCE. The pass he receives is as wobbly as they come, it’s not crisp at all and hits DCE just on his left side for a half to receive a ball like that transfer his weight from left to right as he brings the ball down is something few halves could do.

I tried posting the video but can’t find one just yet.

Api had a really solid game though and think he should still be there but interesting just to see the pass.

Chez had to reach behind and to his left to then hook it back with his right foot

Yeah I noticed that as well...terrible pass under those circumstances. API is a brilliant defender, very tough, and a great runner of the call, but his passing was noticeably poor on several occasions against the Bunnies.
