I love Des the mad professors tactics of staying with a losing side and not letting the future young guns get a run, dropping Fulton, dropping Weekes for the likes of De Luis and Walker - it’s genius honestly. I hope we resign Des for 5 more years. Master stroke.

Sad sad day being the last home games for Foz and Walker, amongst our best this year and no replacements of their calibre in sight. Marty's last as well, so the team plays well for all 3, who've been at Manly for at least 7 years.
To have any chance we need to make up for the lack of Jake's defence.

Ha back in the day when I drank heaps of beer one of my mates invited us over for Xmas breakfast , him , and another of our mates then proceeded to drink his recently brewed home brew.

He had a dozen big bottles , so in essence 4 each.

After 4 each we were legless , Mrs MFB was disgusted and went home with the ****s.

A few days later I spoke to him and said “ WTF was in that beer “, he said oh I stuffed that one up it was somewhere between 18-20%

That could be bull**** , but they were talking about it on the BNE sports talkback and that’s what was stated.

They can get approval to elevate in exceptional circumstances, I would say Smalley would be in that case today.
