I ended up turning off the sound. Watching the match was hard enough without the bull**** commentary.

That’s what my daughter suggested, but I was a little inspired by Warren Smith contradicting him a cpl of times. Would’ve loved it if Warren just told him to shut the fuuck up Braith.

The fact Walker stood there and watched a 40/20 beat him, without even attempting a play at the ball, says it all.

He is clearly not a fullback, as we have all said.

What was he supposed to do kick it out? It was a great kick. Walker went alot better in the 2nd. He will only get better but shouldn't be there in the 1st place. Not his fault im sure he'd love to be outside Foz instead of high pressure FB. He had some great touches and some not so great moments. The miss kick for latrines try before half time was unforgivable for any player. Kick the ****ing ball ffs its not hard

His defensive positioning and efforts at fullback are poor, but that's not all that surprising considering he's a centre or 5/8 and not a fullback. But I do agree with you in that with the ball in hand he still looks as good as he ever has.

He'll be a lot better off playing left centre outside of Foz once Turbo is back in the side.

Pretty typical Manly performance.

• Player badly injured in the first five minutes? Check.
• Try comically conceded in the last 17 seconds of the half? Check.
• Handling errors to gift the opposition possession at the worst possible times? Check.
• Showing just enough spirit to create the illusion that we might be able to jag a win? Check.
• Lots of effort from the forwards for very little team reward? Check.
• Ultimately outclassed in all aspects of the game? Check.

We are nothing if not consistent.

I was hoping Latrell would slip when he kicked the penalty and get the ball jammed up his arse...these things never seem to work out..

Pretty disappointing to lose by 14 in those conditions. We played well for patches but again a lack of composure killed us. Marty's two dropped balls inside the 10m zone early in the tackle count and DCE's inability to calm down really prevented us building pressure.

We look clunky in attack, sometimes due to poor service from dummy half off when the play the ball is quick and sometimes it's just new combinations. Souths and Sydney are very settled teams who don't have a revolving edge/backline to deal with.

Paseka was brilliant, he bends the line with each run and tried to provide some grunt in defence. It would be great if everyone else could go with him. The rest of our forwards really tried hard, especially Jake who made some nice runs and didn't look to pass while also making some crucial stops when the Bunnies were getting a roll on.

Our backline is a bit of a shambles. Saab looks like he will work out nicely, Garrick played much better but lacks conviction in anything he does. Parker was probably our best back running strong lines and making some nice tackles. Suli looks good when he gets some early ball, which isn't going to be often with DCE''s new favourite move (the double pump shimmy 360 go backwards panic offload) and Sirro inside him but is lazy in defence. Foran looks threatening when he takes the line on and did ok considering his style least suits the wet weather.

He's busted, I was at the game. One of his legs is more tape than flesh, he was hobbling the whole 2nd half and defending on the wing. I doubt he'll play next week, maybe 2 weeks out.

I honestly think DCE should move to #9. Give Foran the game management and allow Cherry to just play football. It honestly just feels like 1 step forward 2 steps back with him.
