The team deserved the Sh!t they copped last week, 100%.

But what a way to bounce back, glorious win. Hope they all enjoy a frothy or 5 for that great win. Deserve all the praise they’ll get..
Agreed. But then knuckle down and keep working hard and don't get caught up thinking they're world beaters after one win

It sure was a non-technical, unusual game, but I loved the intent/energy. Finally saw a more forward heavy bench, which kept the motor going. But in saying that the players would be quietly relieved we got that last try in because it was starting to look like losing the unloseable given the possession/sin bins.

Love storm games, it’s always an interesting matchup no matter the formlines coming into it. Johns had a better showing, and the defencive pressure in the storms’ 20 shut their forward pack down big time. Due to the work of our forwards the storm didnt get a chance to test our edges almost all night.

While that was a great win, ill take it for what it was (a scrappy, entertaining game) and not buy into it too much.

At least the boys will get some confidence. It’s great to finally see the storm have an OK forward pack. It used to seem like Munster and co were untouchable but they have much less time this year. They got confronted with a pretty high intensity, hard-hitting defence tonight

3 or 4/10 technical rating, but almost a 10/10 in the effort department, and a fun game. If we lost that though, it would’ve been a head scratcher. 2 tries to 1 in the end was pretty poor but I guess that was kind of the style of game too. Hopefully storm keep losing 🙂. We have glimpses of dominant attack, but moreso when things get adlib. I think we need to think a lot less in attack

I must say, Tuilagi has been very quiet compared to the other forwards in the first 20.
