Manly want to re-sign reborn coach Des Hasler on a long-term deal

I want Des there for as long as he has the fire. I am concerned about the future of the Sea Eagles without him.
Yes, a 10-12 year tenure would be great. By then we should have the CoE and several other ground enhancements in place, possibly with the LC relocated to Brookvale Oval.

The longer Des stays -
1. The more good years on-field, resulting in:
a. stronger financial bottom line;
b. The stronger justification for ground improvements; and
c. The likelihood that we will have more ex-Manly men in the pipeline as prospective coaches.

Plus -
2. The opportunity to end any relocation speculation for at least another generation.

Depends on the terms - as long as the coaching team of 5 is maintained/improved and supported rather than eroded down to 2 again he should stay and he cannot be allowed to back end contracts then walk again like his last 2 gigs
I would seem that you’re pal Barrett was responsible for the erosion...
