With the exception of the Dogs game it seems to me that we are very slow to start and work our way into games. Manly started both halves poorly this weekend with mistakes giving field position and opportunity to the Tigers.

Against Raiders, Chooks, Sharks, Eels and Tigers we have been well behind after 20 mins.

It cost us yesterday, and it's gonna continue costing us if we don't fix it. What kind of pep talk is Des giving them before the game? I always dream of being able to give the Manly team a pre-game rev-up talk before a big match. Let me in there - I'll get them pumped up!

We also started well against the warriors, but still that 22% of the time we are ready, 78% we are not.
