Kent said on NRL 360 during the year that there's basically no direct communication between players and the media any more. So journalists pretty much just go with **** they hear from distant tomato sauces.

What happened first?

Journos started making things up because the players stopped talking to them

or

Players stopped talking to Journos becauase they were making things up
