Manly Warringah Sea Eagles supporters can meet the team this Wednesday afternoon.

The team will appear at one of our proud corporate partners, Suttons Volvo Brookvale, 770 Pittwater Road, Brookvale, between 4pm and 6pm.

This is your chance to meet the players, get some photos, autographs, and wish the team well ahead of their round two clash against South Sydney Rabbitohs at Lottoland this Saturday at 5.30pm.

"If some of you think we aren't that good, get out from behind your keyboards, fatties, and come and tell us to our faces if you think you're hard enough." said one well known player.*

So it wasn't a well know player. That narrows it down a bit, probably one of the newbies.

Doubt it would be Kelly as most people have been pretty pleased with his debut. Sirro hasn't copped much either. Perrett has copped a bit, possibly him? Green a little as well but he is fairly well known.

Don't worry , they do read Silvertails ( or did when I was involved ), I remember Matty Orford saying " thanks for sticking up for me on Silvertails, we all get a laugh out of what is written".

That's a few years ago now, but you can bet they'd be aware of it.

I want to corner Barrett against one of the Volvos and ask him - why did Myles play for just 5 minutes, why did Lewis Brown play at all, and thirdly are we done with the Api experiment yet?.
Also, as I leave, remind him that if we do not beat Souths, at home, without Reynolds or Inglis, that we are officially favourites for the wooden spoon and that the Barrett era is officially a failure.
