What a joke. They preach that the head and concussion is their primary concern yet sign off on that rubbish from Bird. You could see DCE was dazed by the hit. He had let the ball go & relaxed his body, before Bird even started the tackle. Unbelievable. T-Rex got done for months merely for the potential risk of an injury.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the tackle. In fact it's the very sort of thing i'll whinge and moan about for months when we get penalised for it, which brings me to my point.
Why the **** was T-Rex even penalised, let alone suspended for the duration of his contract for his shark hit this year? Why was Matai even penalised for his his on Anus last year for which he was suspended? the answer is for no reason other than they play for Manly. DCE got what happens in footy, unfortunately for him he was on the wrong side of the Sea Eagle badge. It should not be a penalty at all but we should be compensated for the injustice of how much suspension we've dealt with over the last few years.
Shame on you NRL, shame, shame, shame.
