Pretty sure the other 2 had off field dramas that forced the panthers hand..

I dont expect that Terrell is a church choir boy (not sure we want that after Manase anyways) but I am not aware of any criminal accusations against him and for mine he is the standout talent in the family... this kid will be a Payne Haas level player if he can be kept on track... imo anyways...

Good player no doubt, though his ability wasn’t enough to keep him at Manly through Blacktown Workers previously, don’t know anything there but a player with that ability doesn’t go unnoticed.

The below from an article today about his departure, his manager is moving quickly to dispel any speculation about behaviour.

Sources close to May insist it is purely a football decision as the Roosters digest the fallout from this season and work out what they need to do to ensure they are competitive in 2025.

Apparently clubs knew about May leaving on Friday, and only now have we been linked to Taukeiaho... Could Mestrov playing on another level to try to bring May here?

You would have to presume then, that we left some part of the cap open for opportunities to sign good props, when they become available. It's not exactly often a player like this becomes available for the very next season. Keep in mind we were interested in both Angus Crichton and AFB... How could we have afforded them if this wasn't the case? Worth noting that Schuster's money is almost certainly unused at this point.

Very presumptuous here, but another option is that Aloiai extended his current contract, out to two more years. He does seem like a valued individual at the club, and as such, it's very possible his extension simply extended his current contract of 1.2 mil over two years, to 1.2 mil over four years. No way would they extend it at 600k, and do so early.

That’s good to hear, rules out the behavioural aspect, could be the Rorters to have a wealth of depth with middle forwards and some very promising younger props.

Could be the Rorters are freeing up their coin to have a go at Hunt or another player.

The 450K they had him on was a bargain buy on their behalf, I would have thought he would be 600K plus a season.

Honestly, if last year was Terrell on a "poor preparation" then it is f*cking scary to think how good a motivated Terrell May could be...

I know people will say (if this rumour is true) that we have been down this road with Schuster but the difference (for mine) is that Terrell is STILL playing at an NRL level...
