ant theres no reason australia cant field 3 teams .. we have the most depth in the world for this code thats just  B.S talk the real reason is the selectors..

I agree with others at the end of the day its upto the individual what or who they want to work for. I'm just glad Belllamy isn't helping us. Put me in a very awkward position. Good for Brian Smith also that he will win something for one :D(I hope) thought i'd get some banter going

The more of a contest, the greater the passion.

Once upon a time the interstate matches were based on residency and it was a no-contest.  Rules changed to state of origin, the contest grew and so did the passion.

Kiwis representing Manly? A horror 60 years ago, no problem now.

If your grandmother owned an English Bulldog, maybe that's enough to play for the Poms. If you've a distant relative in Bondi then you're a Kiwi. Don't care much what rules they bring in if they bring back a contest.
lol 60 yrs ago maybe we didnt  import any because we were 3yrs old  thats why..lol

i mean 3 yrs as an entity the `manly warringah sea eagles` plus in the 40`s & 50`s & most 60`s it was un heard of to import poms or kiwi`s any way..

Obviously way, way before your time jjai.  For some time before and after this you couldn't even play someone who travelled across the Harbour Bridge, let alone the Tasman Sea.  And even the thought of someone travelling across the Harbour Bridge to play for Manly was blasphemy. Times change, customs and rules change.
