He said that's what he wants to do..whilst being interviewed after the Broncos gameIf he goes down that road and I believe he could. Then 100%. But in like 5 or 6 years

I don't think so. The Dogs had the same management under Barrett that is currently succeeding with Ciraldo.Apparently there’s no point voting, because there’s no point changing the coach until everything else changes. So we are stuck with Seibold until Penn cashes in his chips. I think that’s the logic.
We have Peter Gentle I believe and apparently he’s highly thought of.Its all up to recruitment ,pay for the best guys in this role.
Wolves are coming 8th out of 12 teams, so not so good. How's Sam Burgess doing over in UK? Like the cut of his gib. Almost came to Manly as a player. Was impressed with him as assistant at Souths. High standards, tough and direct. Possibly even inspirational?
…..I think it is more a case of why sack someone when you cannot come up with anyone better.Apparently there’s no point voting, because there’s no point changing the coach until everything else changes. So we are stuck with Seibold until Penn cashes in his chips. I think that’s the logic.
Exactly…..I think it is more a case of why sack someone when you cannot come up with anyone better.
There seems to be only 3 choices
1 ex manly players with little or no coaching experience
2 non ex manly players with little or no coaching experience, or
3 sacked coaches or coaches no one else wants!
Just sayin’
I don’t agree that there are no better options in the world of rugby league than Seibold. And we will have to find someone sooner rather than later, because even Seibold has indicated his heart is not in it past his current contract and wants to move into admin. Personally I would have no problem taking a punt on a young coach who has passion for the job, like what the bulldogs did in choosing Ciraldo over Barrett. Bellamy, Bennett, Cleary, Hasler, Ryan, Fulton, Gibson etc etc were all rookie coaches at some stage.…..I think it is more a case of why sack someone when you cannot come up with anyone better.

I’m not sure a young coach with passion is the answer… we gave Barrett a go he had passion, what about Ryles that doesn’t appear to he going too well … Benji.. plenty of passion …I don’t agree that there are no better options in the world of rugby league than Seibold. I’d argue against the Ryles assessment. He has come in and made big changes, plenty of talented young players coming through and their game style has evolved as the season has gone on.Just looking at the ladder doesn’t tell you the whole story.I’m not sure a young coach with passion is the answer… we gave Barrett a go he had passion, what about Ryles that doesn’t appear to he going too well … Benji.. plenty of passion …

….didnt they say the same thing about Arthur?I’d argue against the Ryles assessment. He has come in and made big changes, plenty of talented young players coming through and their game style has evolved as the season has gone on.Just looking at the ladder doesn’t tell you the whole story.
Prefer young/passion to old/passionless. See current Hasler, Bennett. Not sure Barrett had passion, I remember plenty of blank stares and meaningless babble at many a press conference. Ryles is going ok.I’m not sure a young coach with passion is the answer… we gave Barrett a go he had passion, what about Ryles that doesn’t appear to he going too well … Benji.. plenty of passion …

Hasler is 64. Craig Bellamy is 65 and there is not a more passionate coach in the NRL.Prefer young/passion to old/passionless. See current Hasler, Bennett.
I’d be happy with Bellamy.Hasler is 64. Craig Bellamy is 65 and there is not a more passionate coach in the NRL.
It's not age.
… I wasn’t sure whether to give you a ‘like’ or an ‘ optimistic’’I’d be happy with Bellamy.
