As you’re well aware, this past week has been a very difficult one for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. A number of incidents occurred that reflected poorly on the club. We acknowledge this is not an acceptable situation and we will do everything we can to ensure it does not happen again.
<p>Today, as Chairman of the Sea Eagles Board, I want to apologise to you all for the events that took place after our Season Launch on Friday the 6th of March.

The event itself was meant to be an announcement of the start of an exciting new season as 2008 Premiers and to celebrate the win in the UK as newly crowned 2009 World Club Champions.</p>

All very well to send an open letter to the fans but why leak the draft to the media first? So it could make the sunday papers? Can't we get some decent millionaires to buy the club?
