I'm not 100% sure I would not be considering Walsh for 2026.
Yes he is young, but has stepped up in NSW cup and been 1 of few players to look good in a dud team, especially defensively which is where you want a youngster building his game from.
There have been many players of the same age taste 1st grade and handle it well and to have a bloke like fogarty, who plays a solid controlling game, could just play his own style without the pressure of leading the team around the park.
Personally would like a couple more forwards of note, which is a "high" possability and then we throw Oka and Paseka back into the mix and Simpkin has done ok at 9 and with better go forward will only improve, which again will reduce the heat he would cop playing today.....
Personally hoping Walsh gets some trials and a big off season, before deciding he sits in NSW cup for 2026, before being poached and becoming an instant star player at another club.
If it's too early would know early and at least given him an opportunity and "something" for the fans to get excited about.....even off the bench these last few games, I'd be happy enough
