They're reporting it as a 'DCE deal'.

By 2015 Chez had played NRL for 5 years as a half back, won a Premiership, had won the Churchill medal in another GF, played for Oz and SOO :nerd:

Mitchell still hasn't shown 5 years' consistent form nor the ability to deal with public criticism :shake:

Hope the Dogs do sign him though

Hopefully Latrell screws them for even more cash - seriously the club is a basket case if I was him I would be taking understand to stay at chooks

This is good, drive his price sky high.

What is that, about 12% of the cap in one player.

Good luck with that Doggies.

Great talent, but only 1 meltdown from being
a negative to a team
No way worth this price tag, as he is either a star or missing in action.
Think the $800,000 Rooster money is already more than fair.

He's too immature for a deal like that. Being on that kind of coin will go to his head and his form will slump after his work ethic drops.

That said, I'm glad it's happening because it will force the roosters to have him on their books at a believable market value if they try to keep him.

Seriously if he turns down $1.1 million a season and then signs for $500,000-600,000 a season at the roosters, then the salary cap auditors need to turn that club inside out.
