I know you're mucking around but I think that's a stretch. Simpkins was decent with the ball today but I thought he struggled to control the Sharks middles in defence and that had a lot to do with the roll on they were getting around the ruck.

Watch the sharks hooker , that’s the standard needed in the NRL good sides
Simpkin is a work in progress but not in the same class as yet

I've taken some time away from the wrist slitting and remembered that we have Lodge and Aloiai still to come back into this side. I think with them back we will be more competitive. I hope the club is seriously entertaining the idea of moving DCE on before June 30 because his presence is doing more harm than good right now.

Why should we move him? Just so he gets what he wanted all along. Stick him in reserves.

We got beat by 16? The turning point was a flat pathetic effort in the first half from a substandard pack with a captain who has checked out. In reality there was so much luck in that first try ,shark error , miskick ny Ola that fell to Saab. Individual effort from Koula for the second after a DCE brain fade.Otherwise we had nothing.

Anyone who thinks that pack with an uninterested DCE and mortally wounded Tommy is making the eight needs to reconsider.

Our pack is the worst in the comp. Our bench is the worst in the comp and we have no first grade standard hooker in the entire club.

And lastly .., I doubt Jake makes any sides starting side at prop and he is definitely not a bench player.

I applauded moving Jake to prop but didn't think he'd be left out there for 72 minutes! I thought he'd play shorter minutes like he did last year in SOO, make more use of our mobile bench.

Meanwhile Waddell only played 21, Bull 36, Brown 24.
