No stream of the PM's XIII/PNG game?

At least its happened at the end of our season so that's a plus. Still sucks for his Kangaroos World Cup chances though.

If it's a six month injury, which should be unlikely, he could miss some football for next season. Hopefully it is fine

Bad news for Walker, good news for Tom. Probably just opened the door a little wider for a Kangaroo call-up.

Helping him along is the high regard (I gather) Mal has for Jake and his family.

Picking another clean living, non-troublemaking Northern Beaches boy can only be good thing from a coach's perspective.

And lessens the number of zoobs Terry!!

It still sucks for Dylan because he was looking at a Kangaroo re-call (remember he did play in the 2014 Four Nations). But from a Manly perspective, if its going to happen better it happen soon after the end of our season where he will miss a minimum amount of game time, if any at all. That gives him at least 6 months to recover before we start our 2018 season.

If you're going to get an injury like that, better it happen in the off-season than like what happened to Ricky Stuart when he had a similar injury in 1993. That effectively killed Canberra's chances because it happened in the 2nd last round.

Agree. Thats why I selfishly hope that not too many of our players are picked for the world Cup. We are looking good for next season and to hit the ground running we will need all hands on deck and not in rehab.
