Non-Manly Games [Round 17, 2017]

donkeys not much better than the dirty doggies
I think Milford, Boyd and Oates are big outs to be fair. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love seeing the Broncos get pumped. But it would be like us losing Tom, DCE and Uate. Although I guess Jorge cancels out Oates.

I hate to say it, but the Purple Scum will be very, verrrry hard to beat this year..
Disagree. Any team that turns up and plays are a genuine threat to the Storm. They succeed through consistency low risk free footy. They will perform very well over a season but are vulnerable to whatever team is running hot through the finals. They play a numbers game and sweat on teams having below par nights. They are very beatable.

The good thing about tonight's game is that even if DCE plays a blinder tomorrow and gets man of the match, he won't get selected for Origin. Munster played his way into the side and maybe Hunt as well.

Drizzle are overwhelming favourites this year, Donkeys were badly exposed. Melbourne tonight owned Brisbane and they have an Indian sign over the donkeys. You see that form and you understand how hard it is going to be for NSW on Wednesday week, surely Munster plays at 5/8 and that club combination are a Queenslands biggest weapon. I hate to admit it but Manly and the rest of the teams have it all to do to stop the drizzle this year.

completely agree.. that penalty was pathetic he lost the ball that's it one ref called it that way perenara called it differently the nrl is a joke. dogs deserved to win and should of had the ref not cheated and no one says a thing funny isn't it? after the uate blunder it was on all media outlets nrl 360 everything. yet I can't find one article showing the dogs been robbed.. agendas me thinks.. classic nrl it tis a joke
Watch the NRL.com highlights. Penalty not even shown.

Heh.. I sort of agree, and disagree lol!!

The dependable, mistake free footy they play will see them beat most teams most of the time. In a sense it's almost the perfect brand of rugby league in today's dumbed down version of the game: they win the ruck, they win the wrestle and they slow the game down to suit their style. It would take some actual balls from the referees to penalize them consistently to force them to change.... but that is NOT going to happen.

I do agree though, that any of the top 4/5 teams on song can beat them. I actually think that our style of play is perhaps the most likely with which to do so.

Come grand final day though, they are coming of a loss last year and I think that will be enough.

I hope not... but we will see!

Yeah HV8, there was a fair bit of sarcasm in my comment. Saying by Munster played his way into on 1 game considering DCE has been dominate of a long period in ludicrous.
