Had to laugh at one of Gould's comments. He said that the Chooks had missed 27 tackles in the first 30 minutes and wouldn't miss that many in a season.....

They missed 33 against us last week Gus 😛

And personally I think that the Chooks have been made to look good so far this year through the lack of quality opposition, except us and to a lesser extent Penrith. They aren't as good as the media would like everyone to believe.

And frankly neither are Brisbane.

Roosters have been really good this season to be honest. Although I think the donkeys are just trying to recover from that embarrassment of a performance from last week. Chooks look sore, your welcome

Also @Mark from Brisbane dont worry the nrl app is on something again, score line is actually 14-8 not 22-8 as they have on the site. How they get that wrong I don't know

Oh and just as I wrote this they changed it, well just never trust them, it's projecting Greenburgs planned score-lines

No way in hell is Ben Hunt worth the $1.2m per year that St Merge are going to pay for him. I bet the're now wishing they had waited a few weeks, they could have had Cronk for that or less.

Although he at least is a more long-term option. Perhaps Widdop will leave (maybe even Dugan) and they'll still get him, that'd be a strange sight, Hunt and Cronk playing for the dragons.. Probably won't happen

I think they had a good run with the draw in those early rounds, with only a flat Panthers side offering any real contest. They were cruising thinking they were back... but came up against a Manly team that played really hard and tough, and the level of willingness and fight just gave them a reality check that threw their motivation and confidence right off.

Having said that, the Donkeys have been really ordinary in their execution and they could well let the Roosters back in before this game is over.

That I agree with, maybe a dominant half like Cronk would help him although I can't realistically see Cronk going to the dragons, likely a Hunt and Widdop half pairing as you were likely thinking. Hunts price tag at the Dragons won't be reached, let alone without a dominant half as Hunt will flounder you would think

I don't get that penalty for taking out the ball runner. I would have thought that where a ball runner is between the player with the ball and a defender, that the defender would have a right to go through a ball runner in the way? It just didn't feel right watching it.
