I was a big fan of him coming through, his main strength when he was a kid playing against smaller kids was he had an incredible fend and leg drive. He would just swat players away with ease and power through tackles.
When he played against men, that was so ineffective. He tried it every time and got man handle, and then didn't have another option. He looked hopeless in defence and lacked speed, strength and skill. I was shocked.
Compare that to Shuster who had an amazing first game in a very difficult position and could see he is going to be a star no doubt.
I have my doubts about hoppa being anything special, even struggling in first grade, although he could prove me wrong and go on and be a gun.
