Nek minute dickhead referee decides he's scared of a Stuart spray and it's non stop penalties, 6 agains and dud decisions to the Faders.

League has become so unsatisfying to watch. It used to be a fair contest between two teams, and the best team usually won. Now it’s all about ref induced momentum swings, with the six again the biggest blight on the game, virtually guaranteeing a score soon after. No lead is safe no matter how dominant you are, the ref will just come to the other sides rescue. They are nit picking the game to death.

That’s not the way I’d describe it……..manipulating the game, seems more accurate…..

I watch league to see which team can win in a battle of skill, strength and endurance. I don’t watch it to see who can hang on for 12-16 tackle sets, who can stay down to milk slaps across the head, who best places their foot on the ball in the play the ball etc etc etc.

I thought they appointed Klein to ‘manage’ the Knights back into this year’s comp. Not even he can help the Knights though.

Adam OBrien has been coaching the Knights since 2020
since then he has a 46% win rate
and since then he has been rebuilding nothing but sandcastles
I am not sure why clubs persist with pretenders
But I do know that when you persist with pretenders you are prone to long term failure
