NRL Luker stricks again

Lurker has told the world that Taufua & BL have been told by Manly that they could negotiate with other clubs for next year. Evidently Taufua linked to friends in Super League and BL to Newcastle. At least with Luker putting it out there, there is little chance of it happening!

Whether it's disappointing or not really depends on who we get instead.

I'm not exactly sad at this point that we've lost Buhrer, for example. Not because I didn't like him as a player, but just because I think we have a better side with Uate, even having lost Buhrer.

The only player we've offloaded who I really wish we had right now is Gutherson.

I'm not exactly sad at this point that we've lost Buhrer, for example. Not because I didn't like him as a player, but just because I think we have a better side with Uate, even having lost Buhrer.

Taufua is 24 and has played 110? Games. If his off field crap is in the past the next five years could be his best.
Id be happy to keep him for at least two more years.

He's been one of the best in the NRL at taking hit ups at the beginning of a set. Will be disappointed to see him not get rewarded and it's not like he'd cost loads either.

These both don't come as a surprise really. He may be on the money and Brookie will be sad to see them both go as they are in great form. In saying that we must have a greater plan in action to move these guys on. I don't really get too disappointed hearing these rumours knowing something is brewing behind the scenes with ruthless Bozo pulling some strings. But there is apart of me that will be a touch sad if they are moved on.

Tafua runs are like an extra forward and great finisher. He is playing a lot better this year.

It is surprising that not only Jorge but also Brad Parker and Bill Bainbridge are still not resigned at this stage of the season . Apparently now relatively injury free, Jorge has certainly been very strong and effective for the team this season and reasonably safe under the high ball . There surely must be a good case for him to be retained for some future seasons with the club

Taufua can't leave, not unless we get a brilliant player in replacement (very few id accept happily)

He's been great this year, an extra forward, a try-scoring forward.

Don't think it will be true anymore although will be quite disappointed if it is true

Now that I think of it, Jorge can't get a work visa in the UK as he has a conviction.

Taufua is playing great, he's young and the strongest back in the NRL. If they are planning to get rid of him we have no one to replace him, no one on the market either. Our under 20s and reserves are pretty poor also.

Taufua is up there with Api and Marty as my favourite players at Manly so I really hope the mail is wrong but I know the club are chasing a centre and maybe the plan is to move Kelly to the wing? who knows.
