The NRL has scrapped NSW Rugby League's annual City v Country clash, with the last-ever edition to be played in Mudgee next year.

Not sure. It was a great way for country people to see a bit of the NRL live. I'm speaking more about getting the game back to the bush as much as possible before Aussie Rules does finally take over.

It became a specticle more than anything else. Country should have had to have a quota of actual country players and city a few nsw cup players.
I won't miss it.
