NRL v AFL GF Day

Why is it that the AFL can play their Grand Final in their traditional afternoon timeslot, pack the MCG to the rafters and have TV ratings through the roof, yet out fkn stupid code has to play at night, and struggle to fill whatever sh*thole stadium they play.

Just offer the AFL leadership the NRL administration and get rid of these useless arseholes once and for all!

Because the RL people have generally been inferiority complex-afflicted duds, saddled in their own minds by the game's working class foundations - vis a vis cross-country basketball's more universal appeal in its traditional strongholds. Or at least it appears that way.

In short, RL has generally had second raters running it.

Thus explaining why since 1981, during Snailface Kev's* time, rather than fight the southern interlopers head to head, RL has played the GF on Sundays. More recently at night.

I find AFL to be an infinitely more boring game but it's so hard to remain interested in the NRL these days. I honestly think the only remedy at this point is for fans to abandon the game until the current administration are all sacked, put a broom through the entire joint. Jason King for CEO.

Do what I'll be doing, which is tune in 15-20 mins after it's supposed to start and miss all the crap 9 will come up with.

Interestingly AFL was supposed to kick off at 2:30 and kicked off on the dot. NRL are supposed to kick off at 7:15 but will kick off a fair bit afterwards

NRL will be shown up for being totally unprofessional as always.

NRL doesn't have rectangular stadiums. A few billion dollars and this can be corrected. Have no fear. The NRL will soon compete with the AFL once the stadiums are sorted.

The AFL is much better run, the CEO actually gets what fans think and want and the focus is on the fans, TV is important but don’t control the game.

The NRL is run like we're desperate and on the verge of collapse all the time.
Well that's what it looks like when you have TV dictating who plays when and where every week, betting agencies spewing their **** in our faces every 5 mins and constant knee jerk rule changes so we don't lose/offend soccer mum's who won't let their kids play league anyway.

Well its chicken and egg for the NRL, but a lot clearer for AFL.

AFL crowds have been the same for years or in some cases improved, while the Greenturd grub league have disintegrated crowds, or at best remained constantly below AFL averages.

AFL TV ratings have been the same for years, NRL have improved to overtake them (thanks SOO).

So logic dictates that AFL can stand up to the TV stations with revenue from games and maintain dignity.
NRL cannot do **** because they cannot attract crowds to games, but they rate over AFL so they hope they don't **** the game up for TV.

That's my take. Mind you Greenscum ****wit shoddy toddy couldn't work out that simple logic.

The hype for this GF is low. Everyone I have spoken too doesnt really care.

Guess that is what happens when you have 2 teams from opposite ends of the country.
