uati had no priors so no points, penalty sufficient 90 points now accrued as grade one dangerous tackle.next time he gets suspended fair call **** happens these tackles were the norm 10years ago and when anyone gets into this position why dont the refs call held as they seem to let the ball carrier fight on, what ever happened to the rule when forward progress is stopped you are tackled if the ball carrier wants to keep struggling then penalise in possesion I wish soo would stand alone somewhere in the comp that way we dont lose players to something which in my mind is a waste of time today the premiership is the top priority play tours and soo at end of season then we have an even stronger premiership games others may disagree but i am just throwing it out there

From memory Jamie Lyon copped a suspension a couple of years ago for a far more innocuous tackle. And he had an exemplary record for a number of years.

shouldnt the post be now titled:

"NSW better find more props"

They have added Dave Taylor to their bench.

Only way blues can win is if NSW have 60% of possession and out run the big fellas.

The problem is we dont have the props to compete with QLD. Hence the change in tactics to try tire them out with speed.

May have read ur post wrong.I assume you mean the 'toads have added barge arse to THEIR bench.Don't know whether thats a + or a -.Even if he was on the NSW bench,it's proven that this is no longer SoO,but State where-ever you want to be from.

well canterbury played an inexperienced prop and Andrew Ryan in the front row on sat night. they got bent backwards and driven into the ground every set.

It will be another maroon mauling.

Dicky Stuart said he wanted specialists in particular positions.

QLD have Petro, Scott, Hannant and Barge A$$

NSW have Merrin and Mannah. 3 games of SoO experience.

I'm not worried about lack of props for the Blues. It will only be a big factor if NSW have poor ball control or a poor kicking game. Penalties rarely play a part in Origin so the flow of possession if NSW take care of the ball should be fairly even. NSW pack is a lot more mobile, but the big key will be the play the ball. If guys like Choc and Mannah in particular are able to reproduce the speed of their play the ball like they can at the NRL level it will be huge for the Blues.

No chance, Queensland will kill us right across the park....I projected a 34-8 score in Origin 1 but they did better than I thought...for me that will be about the score....in favour of QLD....sadly, will be a terrible day at work for me on the 17th of June!!
