I agree that you need a great players to win comps
But you also need competent coaches
I do not know any crap coach that has won a comp

Bennett was good for st George south’s and Brisbane but useless for newcastle
Cleary was sacked from Penrith hopeless at tigers and wins 2 premierships for penrith
… and we all know Des’s history…..the coach doesn’t change the players do!
