Just had a look at the Souths team lineup v Penrith. We can def beat these guys and beat em well. Like us, Penrith played their worst game of the year week 1 of finals and like us last night won’t make the same mistake again. On paper I actually think we look a lot better than Souths. Snd the week off won’t help a guy like Taafe getting into a rythum. The market has opened close for good reason. I can’t make the prelim but heck if we beat Souths, those GF tix will be worth every cent!

The rabbits got a lot to play for and we need to be wary about the motive they coming with. Wayne's last year, Reyno's last year for the club, tryna prove they can win without Trell, tryna break this prelim curse they have. We gotta match their energy!

We need to be motivated and hungrier than them just like we were last night. Melbourne put a fire in our belly after we lost like that, we need to keep carrying that focus and anger and bash these guys, because they are such a beatable team and we are lucky we have them on our side of the finals draw.

A Grand Final is soooooo close but we gotta put a big 80-minute performance to get there.

8 years since our last prelim/semi, it's been a long time between drinks. So proud of how far we've come and loved every bit of the ride.

Getting any further will be a huge mountain to climb but a GF spot will be a helluva reward.

What a great effort by the team to get to this stage.

This week is perfect for us, all the focus will be on Souths, with Bennett and Reynolds front and centre. We got through last night unscathed it seems and it means we can have a week as we love it, under the radar and underdogs for next Friday.

This is a chance, a big chance and if we do the basics well and earn the right, we can cause them not only problems but humble them!
