Maybe so, but it’s a bad look for the game. Especially when you get 70-80 000 fans showing up to games in the AFL each week. No matter how you look at it, the NRL as a spectator sport is in serious decline. Someone needs to come into the top job and start fixing some of Greenberg’s stuff ups or League is going to wind up being a fourth tier professional sport behind AFL, Rugby and Football.
