I reckon Frog returning to the halves to just steer and be that leader might be something that gets considered as well.

If the added $500k means club take a punt on a forward like Fifi. And get the Bull to stay which we really need. So be it.

The only way this would be even considered in my opinion is if Roosters were to give a player like Wong or Whyte in return that are off contract after 26. Unrealistic obviously but if they can’t afford to extend them after paying Reece Robson & DCE it can’t hurt to enquire

Problem of course is you don't want to make a rush decision just to fill the spot. If no-one appealing is available, then just promote Patolo or one of the other young players?

For DCE's cash, we would surely get both. No way they're on $1 million+ combined this year.

On another note, if Joey Walsh is selected next week, absolutely kills it, and looks NRL ready, we could send Brooks to Bali with commiserations, and use the extra cash to keep those two beyond this year. Unfortunately, I don't see the Roosters letting those guys go, so if it does occur, we'll get some random young forwards from them. We only need one or two to fire.
