Smokin Joe
Bencher
They are 0-5 and it is not time for heads to roll and I hope Workers stick by him through this, but it will be interesting to see if he makes any changes this week or if he feels that they are not far from turning things around and keeps the status quo.For me I think that Kaveinga and Schuster need to swap,Kaveinga is a specialist winger and Schuster has ability under high ball, good positioning, good at backing up and good hands.Lane needs to be moved into prop or lock and play in the middle,he is just faffing about out wide and needs to be forced into doing more work.If he can handle the switch it may keep his career going,if not his time here may not be a long one.The bench needs some beefing up,at the moment it is a bit of a lightweight, powderpuff bench.2 players in the lower grades who could fill the role are Andy Fiagatusa and Sione Masima.Weisner stated that he was playing second rowers up front as injuries forced him to but the injuries are to Manly props, the only Workers prop injured is Faingaa.Fiagatusa has been injured but has been back the last 2 weeks and Masima is a later addition to their squad, both are a bit short of fitness but should be there.Pat Mataele at centre should be dropped for Jerry Key and Sione Tanginoa(a Taufua type winger) should be added,Matt Place I think should be added at 5/8 if Hastings is not dropped for Lussick this week and Cullen/Godinet moved to the bench.Thoughts from anyone who has seen the matches live or on tv?Sorry for the length of post.....
