For anyone who doubts Slater's teflon abilty with dirty play go back to the 2008 GF and watch all the tries that we scored. How many times did Slater slide his foot into the try scorers to dislodge the ball. I would have thought that was a send off offence.

It was actually as a result of Slater doing that in games, which in this case was highlighted as it was a Grand Final, that got the move banned (it was legal before that). Fullbacks are now no longer allowed to lead with their feet.

I always remember poor Matty being repeatedly elbowed, whilst on the ground, by sCam down at AAMI in 2014, right in front of the Ref.😡
