Agree although To'o is starting to become my favourite coz he is like an energizer bunny...

He is a control freak but the amount of work that must be done, it is impossible for one person to do it all...he knows that...so he probably figures if I need people around me, they might as well be experienced...that still helps numero uno.

I haven't been impressed with Drinkwater in the NRL but I saw him play a Qld cup game where he tore it to shreds... has potential but not sure what is holding him back as he has had a fair crack...

Yeah I can't remember what game it was I saw him in but i am sure it was after he had played in NRL because I knew his name

Mate he was everywhere and they couldn't touch him... 40/20s, deft little kicks, speed - the kid has a skillet no doubt... pretty sure he played 6 that day

Taumalolo is a genuine one mil dollar player [ as is Turbo at his best ] but zilch chance of getting another one mil dollar player at Manly with the current cap situation . Cowboys would not let him go in any case , their marque player and with an ongoing ten year deal .

Cartwright was NRL level too, so I don't see what Paul Green offers that he didn't.

Green won the comp in 2015 after winning two titles with Wynnum in QCup. He then nearly pulled off a modern miracle in 2017 when a decimated cowboys side made the GF. Other than Bellamy and Robbo no one has done much better in recent times.
He is an antagonistic character with players which means his coaching terms aren’t dynasties like Bellamy, Robbo etc but in terms of what we need he would be a very good option.

What is also interesting is that Des actually wanted another experienced assistant and was not given one.

That is a positive for sure. A recalcitrant Des would make it worse but if he wants it then there is hope.

Wonder if he [ Green being an ex half ] will or could be capable of getting D C E "s game back on track or getting some better attacking shape . Maybe also to bring a specialist defensive coach with him . Realize that Des is primarily an ex half as well but he unfortunately is not presently able to help get D C E "s Mojo back again

I've seen some crazy sh** at Manly over the last few years that are just inexplicable.
Here's another one.

HASLER should be sacked. Full stop.

His record over the last 12 months would get him sacked at any other club.
His failure to blood and play new recruits/juniors and instead playing tried and proven no hopers would get him sacked at any other club.
His inarticulate slow witted brain dead pressers are just embarrassing for the club.

I hated Hasler when he shafted the club back in 2011
I hate him more now.
The mere sight of him on the tv, on the Manly website makes me boil over.
The guys is killing the club.

He doesn't need assistance, he needs to be f***ing sacked now!

Josh played juniors and 20’s for us and then had stints at a couple of clubs in NRL before heading to UK Super League where he still is.
