Game Day: Penrith v Manly [Round 8, 2021]

This is the first time Manly and Penrith have met in a competition game outside of Sydney.

The last time Manly beat Penrith was June 30, 2018. We won 18-10 at Penrith.

Manly's biggest winning streak against the Panthers is 15 games from 1969-1976.

Penrith's biggest winning streak against Manly is 6 games from 1989-1992.

Manly's biggest win came against Penrith in 1973. We defeated the Panthers 70-7 at Penrith. This is also the Panthers worst ever loss.

Penrith are the only team to score 70 points against Manly when they won 72-12 at Penrith in 2004.

Manly coach Des Hasler made his first grade playing debut with Penrith in 1982.

Penrith coach Ivan Cleary made his first grade playing debut with Manly in 1992. He and Des Hasler were actually team mates that day for Manly.
