First the nrl hire an ex Qld premier, then a round is announced that takes every game to Brisbane on one weekend, then...

That actually reminds me of the televised debate between K-Dudd and Abbot before the 2013 federal election that Labor lost. All Dudd did was talk about moving major manufacturing to Queensland to give Queenslander's jobs. The car industry, submarines etc.

He lost a lot of votes around the country that night.....except in Qld where they thought it was a brilliant idea.

This is the sort of thing that worries me if Brisbane ever gets to host the NRL Grand Final.

Even if it was two Sydney teams (e.g. Manly vs Penrith).....the whole thing would be turned into a celebration of Queensland and Queensland rugby league.

Surely, after admitting he screwed up the Commonwealth Games, he should be sacked from all the leadership positions he has.

And sadly herein lies the problem. We have turned into a country that celebrates mediocrity and rewards f%^kwits like this bloke.

He has taken Qld from a dominant economic state to an also-ran, presided over countless screw-ups, messed up the organisation of the Games from the outset, cannot correctly name a team in the NRL apart from the Bronco's. Sounds like the perfect candidate for an overseas ambassadorial role.
