Pita Godinet

Pita Godinet is on the interchange bench for the Sharks trial on the weekend.

Anyone know much about him?

Just did a search and found out he's a hooker who was at the Warriors, then went to the UK and came back to Australia this year. He played for American Samoa in a nines comp recently.

So maybe Manly are looking at him because Hodges is out for the season.

I remember watching him play off the bench for Samoa at the last World Cup. VERY quick out of dummy half, scored a good try. Passing was suspect, but kept the team moving forward well. Will be a good member of the NSW Cup, possibly from the bench.

Actually the great try he scored was in the Four Nations against England. May have scored twice

Was a good player. Maybe a coupe of yearbooks before Peta Hiku in the warriors u/20 side. Picked up by Melbourne after that i believe. Not sure what happened after that.
