Still recall the time or occasional times when Marty showed that real tearaway style playing for the Tiggies , Dogs and Kiwi "s .
Bit patchy but not too bad overall with his Manly stint and shame that he picked up a couple of serious type niggles with Manly which did hinder his form a bit .
Shame also that Manly never really had Marty and A F B regularly playing up front together at the peak of their powers but of course good when both were playing well at different times

I was in 2021. He is well past it now.

The games he played last season, he tended to run at the smaller men, mainly on the fringe of the rucks. I remember one hit up he did in the teeth of the forwards, he lasted 2min, and was only on the field for 10min after coming of the bench.

His last year with us was terrible. I don’t miss his offloads either. We lost a few games when with 5 to go and leading by 2 he would throw an offload on the ground and the opposition would dive on it and end up beating us.
