By illegal do you mean, carries a sentence?

No - something that results in a criminal record. So a fine will suffice. Keep in mind that marijuana is de-criminalised in the ACT and SA - thus no criminal record there.

no i voted yes i have had it in my posession. It can carry a criminal record for possession but only if it is over a distributable amount usually 1 baggy (30 grams)
