Cherry tweaked his ankle in the captains run for QLD !!! He had to have extra treatment just to play and it was pretty sore after the game !! I would say after reading this cherry is no chance of playing Saturday which is frustrating !!!

Not good. Had us pegged as winning this with origin boys back and Tom / Suli. Not any more.
Elgey is a confidence player and he has none right now unfortunately. Tom will need to make a huge difference to overcome the mess that is our halves right now.
Frustrating year but that’s been the case for a so long now with injuries.Hope the skipper hasn’t damaged it again. Shame because Dragons look ripe for the picking with injuries worse than ours. Back to back wins would be like gold this time of year.

I listened to the interview he did yesterday and he seemed pretty upbeat about it. He said it pulled up really well - a little sore which was to be expected but is in Townsville now to give himself every chance to play tomorrow.

Well I guess in line with HM's news article link we will get Salary Cap relief for DCE's SOO injury.
