This is the season we start our climb back to the top.
We will need a few seasons to sort out the mess Trent Barrett has left this club in but when we do watch our NRL I think you will be sorry you have messed with this proud club.

My thoughts re: Trent should be fairly well known to anyone who posts here regularly, and doesn't have the memory of a goldfish

Actually yes, I've been told all off season how negative / wrong I've been. I've felt I've been a realist.

As I've said before, a Datsun 120B is a Datsun 120B regardless of who's pressing the accelerator.

Once again, I'm not going to sit here full of gusto to placate the crowd, like you expect. The team was announced TODAY, I'm ****ING WELL ABLE TO GIVE AN HONEST OPINION ON IT.

Therefore, expect to be carved out wide. Parker and Suli don't pass, so expect an attack where a defense pushes in , minimising breaks. That bodes for a.limited attack, sloppy defense. Ergo: no change from Trent's game plan.

So stop posting about me, and start posting about the team lineup. Try not to use the words "you" and/or "me" , or "I". It's narcissistic.

i am still trying to understand how Elgey at no6 is a selection “shock”, as the fox sports headline puts it. I think he was probably first choice in that position for most people with a casual knowledge of our roster..

Despite being weak out wide, I can see us winning this one if our attitude is right. Attitude gets you a long way, particularly in the early rounds, and we only have to look at the Tigers last year when they knocked off Easts and the Storm in consecutive rounds for evidence of that (admittedly that was when the referees were told to enforce the rules).

Just as well Barrett has left otherwise we would have the worse backs and worst coach in Manly's history

We are entering R1 with a better backline than the Doggies,, its not all that bad. We have TT and possibly DW to come back, who has the dogs got???!!!
