I think we can beat the drag queens this week despite the hoodoo. We need to make sure we put pressure on Hunt and Norman’s kicking game and don’t fall for any dummies. If we do that it’s 50% of the battle. Their backline doesn’t scare me and put forwards are far superior. I’m hoping for a lot of effort from Api to rush the kicker, it will help Tom also.

Some great initiatives.
I'm aware that kids from Stewart House will form a guard of honour for the players as they run on to the field.
Stewart House is a non-profit charity based at Curl Curl which has been operating since 1930 and gets virtually no Government funding.
They do a sterling job helping disadvantaged boys and girls.

It was worse in the 1970s. Manly never won in the rain. The rain also killed off the coaching career of Alan Thompson in 1989.

NZ win means now there's SIX teams on 12 points just behind Manly on 14.

Whoever wins between Wests and Cows will go to 14. Dragoons can go to 14 as well.

Manly have to beat Dragoons to keep ahead of these other teams. The 2 points Manly get from a win will leave Dragoons 4 points behind us. Lose & we're all on 14. Heck.
