things like this make it so much more enjoyable for the fans, players and all around the club. That would have meant alot to The Assistant. Compare this to all the marketing BS, especially around State of Origin (another advert anyone?). Wasn't a stunt just the club and Des doing something for one of its loyal supporters.

Plenty of Coaches would do exactly what he did. Ricky Stuart and Wayne Bennett at the top of the list, for obvious reasons...
