Yesterday I watched the 1982 KB Cup final where Manly smashed Newtown 23 -8. Manly received $111,000 for winning the cup. I am pretty sure that winning the NRL minor premiership only gets the team $100,000 & the premiership $400,000 (I could only find info relating to the 2016 season).

$111k in 1982 translated to 2017 would be well over $1 million. This is probably more evidence of the NRL's mismanagement of the millions that come in the door V the greater amount that walks out the door. And they need a $30 million loan WTF.
