Question re: Koroisou

Well he got in a dangerous position, so I guess so. Likewise, Tom T was put in a dangerous position against the Broncos and they scored a try from it. The Refs can pretty much penalise anything they want, and they do.

It was a great tackle that ended sort of weird, what's his face did a somersault after a Good legs tackle, the refs are still on square up penalties for what ever reason so in my opinion no penalty for that tackle if we were losing

The ref said : "It doesn't matter how the legs end up there....it's a penalty."

DCE should've said: "Yeah we know, you let inglis get away with diving into the ground for years."

They claim he was put in a dangerous position by Api
So technically they were right ?
Api was unlucky as some things cant be prevented with the speed of the game

Great low shot but he ended up in a dangerous position and as the rules stand it was a penalty every day of the week.

So, as the law stands, 1 min to go, score all locked up, a player 40m out straight in front takes the ball and suddenly does a forward head roll without a hand laid on him ... does the ref give a penalty saying "it doesn't matter how he got there, it's dangerous"?

I guess it is sort of the same as someone falling into a tackle and being hit high. That's a penalty but there was no intent. I would be happy for it to be let go as both players actions contributed to the end result but at the end of the day he did end up in position that normally results in a penalty.

No, no, no. I absolutely blew up when they called that. It's a one on one tackle of which API didn't purposely place the player in a dangerous position. One of the worst calls I've seen this year imo

As I said somewhere up there... ^^^^ That's what Inglis has done forever and he always got a penalty.

Until he did it against a media's darling team and they called him out on it.

Both players contributed to the tackle going the way it did. Why does that mean the defensive team gets penalised? Can't there be some common sense by the ref and he make a play on call? Penalties are pretty much the main thing that decides games these days so it's a pretty harsh punishment against the defending team.

Mate, if we lost a GF or something like that honestly, I think I'd end up in the coronary hospital !!
The whole thing is, did API put him in that dangerous position, or was it that both parties colliding the way they did that contributed to the falling momentum?
